We’re looking for an approachable, organised and detail-orientated person to take on the role of Accommodation Manager in our local office on the Isle of Wight.

What will you be doing?

As an Accommodation Manager, you will make an important impact in our customer satisfaction by continuing to improve our accommodation standards.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the growth of our homestay community and the engagement of its existing members.

You will have the opportunity to strengthen your communication, trouble-shooting, networking and entrepreneurial skills by building strong relationships with homestay hosts, international students, external suppliers and colleagues from around the world, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, re-registration & monitoring of suitable homestay accommodation.
  • Manage a team of full time and part time accommodation coordinators, recruiters and visitors.
  • Supervise the team to ensure their targets are met, provides guidance to the team and makes sure that daily, weekly and quarterly deadlines are met.
  • Manage vetting process
  • Ensure students are allocated to appropriate accommodation within EF Gold Standards and in accordance with EF`s safeguarding policy for under 18’s.
  • Ensure student queries regarding accommodation are handled and logged appropriately with regard for excellent customer service.
  • Monitor student evaluation of accommodation and responds to comments and complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
  • Liaise with finance department to ensure prompt and accurate payment to accommodation providers.

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Confident with IT and different systems
  • Highly organised with attention to details
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease & remain calm & positive under pressure
  • Enjoys working in busy & varied environment
  • All offers are subject to a clear background check & 2 references
  • Right to work in the UK
