Responsible for daily support of all purchasing and administrative both inside and outside of the business, including suppliers, business partners and project team members.
Key Role/Responsibilities
· To support the Main Contractor on all purchasing activity.
· Act as a central point of contact for administrative and purchasing queries.
· To raise purchase orders for all project purchases through Sage Construct
· To liaise directly with suppliers as required.
· To interface with the Finance team on all purchase orders, goods received notes and invoice queries.
· To attend key meetings and ensure prompt responses to queries.
· To support the wider team on any other purchasing projects and tasks as required.
· To collate reports and make recommendations as required.
Person Specification
· Higher education to A level or demonstrated experience.
· Excellent PC and Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Impeccable planning and time management.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Experience of using Sage software
· Passionate about providing excellent standards of service
· Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
· Experience in building & construction related industry preferable.
· Ability to work cross functionally, collaborating with a broad skilled team and business partners.
· Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload to changing deadlines and timescales.
· Flexibility with working arrangements
· Able to work in the office in Yarmouth and remotely WFH
· Capacity to work minimum of three hours per day or 15 hours per week
