Are you friendly, welcoming, and passionate about creating memorable dining experiences? We are looking for a warm and professional Restaurant Supervisor to be the face of our brand-new restaurant on the picturesque Isle of Wight. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new venture in a dynamic and rewarding setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff, providing guidance and motivation to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure team members adhere to operational procedures, service protocols, and restaurant policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock management, and communicate supply needs to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain seamless coordination and timely service.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to enhance the dining experience.
- Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness regulations to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Assist in training new staff and conducting refresher sessions to uphold service quality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
