About Us:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Front of House & Bar Manager to lead the team at a wonderful Cafe based in Totland open 7 days a week, ensuring excellent service, a thriving bar, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, stunning coastal venue offering a premium dining and drinking experience with breathtaking sea views.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead, train, and motivate the FOH and bar team to maintain high service standards.
• Manage staff rotas, ensuring the right team coverage for peak and off-peak times.
• Maintain a strong floor presence, interacting with guests and handling any concerns efficiently.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for both bar and FOH.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH.
• Implement and maintain effective cash handling, till operations, and financial reporting.
• Drive sales and promotions, enhancing the guest experience and increasing revenue
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar FOH and/or Bar Manager role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of bar operations, stock control, and cost management.
• Experience with EPOS systems, reservations, and cash handling.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
• A passion for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Knowledge of cocktail-making, wines, and spirits is a plus.
• Personal License Holder (preferred but not essential).
