The Albion Hotel, nestled in Freshwater Bay has undergone a massive £6m refurbishment this year and is now one of the best on the island. This new 4 star hotel with 300 years of history is taking the travel market by storm. Airconditioned throughout, with a 120 seat restaurant, bar and 40 bedrooms, 36 with sea views; it is an exciting opportunity for any up and coming marketeer.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media and Marketing Executive at the Albion, with flexibility for some remote work. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for market planning, market research, communication, sales, and marketing tasks to drive business growth and brand awareness. In particular, you would be responsible for regular posting of content on social media, updating the website and driving business from online. You would also be responsible for lead generation and liason with customers looking for weddings or corporate events alongside the Assistant Hotel Manager. 

 

Qualifications

 

• Market Planning, Market Research, and Communication skills

• Sales and Marketing skills

• Social Media planning and posting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field ideal, but work experience could be considered more important
