This is a three-month paid internship where you will be hands-on in supporting the Communications Team during our peak trip season (June-September). 

No sailing experience or knowledge is required.

Use your content creation and social media skills to help inspire young people to join our life-changing trips and generate the fundraising support we need so the door is open for more young people to benefit from our support.

To make strong connections with the 8-24(ish) age-group we support, and for them to really believe what we offer is for them, we need our social output to be authentic, fun, inclusive, accessible and inspiring.

You will support our Senior Digital & Social Media Lead on (primarily) producing TikTok and Instagram content, plus potentially YouTube/YouTube Shorts depending on experience.

You must be comfortable going out on the water and spending time with young people during their trips to gather and produce content, and have a strong eye for recognising what could make great social content in the moment.

You will also have important responsibilities managing digital content and, depending on skills and experience, supporting the comms team with other admin tasks /in any other ways outlined below and/or requested.
