Remote first role: we have an office location on the Isle of Wight, with regular meet ups in London. You must be available to meet with the team in person at least once per month in either London or Cowes, IoW.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote-first role for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at SentientPro. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for lead generation, building a social profile (social selling), communication with potential clients, lead qualification following our frameworks and being part of the start-up all-hands team.

 

Note: start-up's are not for everyone. We are a high performing, hands-on team that are extremely motivated and dedicated to get things done for our clients and colleagues. You must want to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential customers that can benefit from our products.
  • Reach out to prospects through a mix of outbound calls, emails, and social media engagement to generate interest.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns to determine sales readiness.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for the senior sales team.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients in our CRM, HubSpot.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, our product offerings, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimise outreach strategies and improve lead generation processes.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • General business experience: An internship or other business-related role is sufficient.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn about B2B software solutions and AI.
  • Previous experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus but not required.
