Office Administrator - IOW Group

Job Summary

To provide administration support to the sales office, ensuring duties are carried out efficiently to enable a smooth and productive work environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

·         Provide general administrative support to the team whilst maintaining a consistent standard of work and performance in line with Company standards and Health and Safety regulations

·         Demonstrating excellent customer service when handling customer queries, ensuring allqueries are dealt with or transferred to the relevant staff member in a timely manner

·         Processing quotations and orders for customers onto Sage 50 Accounts within Companytimeframe and in accordance with the Company Policy

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including filing documents, managing databases, and handling confidential information

·         Facilitate internal and external communication, including inbound/outbound telephone calls, drafting emails, memos, and reports

·         Oversee daily office operations, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating maintenance services, and ensuring a clean and organised workspace.

·         Assist in planning and organising company events, meetings, and conferences

Key Skills & Experience 

Essentail:

·         GCSEs or equivalent.

·         Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.

·         Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.

·         Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Be able to demonstrate personal characteristics to work with confidential information. 

Preferred:

·         Basic understanding of Sage 50 Accounts.

·         NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
