Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generating Sales Prospector to join our dynamic sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, thereby generating high-quality leads to fuel our sales pipeline. As the initial point of contact for prospective customers, your contributions will be crucial to the success of our sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively Engage Potential Clients via Outbound Calls:

  • Initiate and conduct a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective clients, introducing our products/services and articulating their value propositions.

Skillfully Qualify Leads Through Direct Conversations:

  • Utilise active listening and targeted questioning during phone interactions to assess prospects' needs, budget, authority, and purchasing timeline, ensuring alignment with our ideal customer profile. 

Maintain Detailed Records

  • Accurately document all call activities, outcomes, and next steps in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to facilitate effective follow-up and pipeline management. 

Nurture Relationships Through Regular Follow-Up Calls:

  • Schedule and execute timely follow-up calls to build rapport with prospects, address any questions or concerns, and advance them through the sales funnel. 

Collaborate with Sales Team for Seamless Handoffs:

  • Communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads, providing comprehensive insights gathered during initial calls.

Consistently Achieve Call and Conversion Targets:

  • Meet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, lead qualification rates, and conversion metrics. 

Stay Informed on Product Offerings and Industry Trends:

  • Continuously update knowledge of our products/services and industry developments to effectively address client inquiries and position our offerings competitively during calls.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Sales or Lead Gen Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, preferably in lead generation or prospecting roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. ?If you are junior, but motivated to gain these skills you can still apply.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage potential clients and articulate the value of our products/services. ?

  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, capable of working independently to drive results.

  • Adaptability and Resilience: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, adept at handling objections, and resilient in the face of challenges. ?

  • Team Player with Collaborative Mindset: Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales and customer success, to align efforts and achieve common goals. ?

  • Familiarity with CRM Tools: Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track and manage leads effectively, we use Hubspot.

  • Commitment to Continuous Learning: A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the sales field, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
