Medina College and The Island VI Form are seeking a qualified Careers Leader to plan and implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for Medina College and The Island VI Form that meets all of the eight Gatsby benchmarks of good practice and prepare young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.

Medina College is located over two sites, the 11- 16 site on the outskirts of Newport, and the post 16 site, The Island VI Form, in a central town location in Newport. However this post will be exclusively based on the Medina College 11-16 site.
The successful candidate will

Provide dynamic, consistent, equitable and motivational instruction ensuring students, over the time they are part of the programme, engage with activities and learning processes.
