The role of housekeeper is to support our housekeeping team leaders with changeovers across the Island. This will involve cleaning holiday lets to a high standard, including changing bed linen. Our main changeover days are Fridays, Saturdays & Mondays with work available during the height of the season, which is typically April to October. Other work may be available outside of the main season including end of tenancy or commercial premises cleaning.
You must have a valid UK driver’s license and your own vehicle. You may claim 0.30p per mile to make the return journey from home to your agreed work location or locations. Mileage will be paid on a monthly basis.
Hours are agreed a few weeks in advance, based on the workload available, and can include weekends and bank holidays. A minimum of 24 hours-notice is required for cancellation of a shift by either party. If the company cancels your shift within 24 hours, your agreed hours for that shift will be paid.
No experience required. We are happy to train you to clean to the standard that we have to deliver for our holiday let changeovers.
