Due to our expanding business, we are searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality department, maintain our, Aerospace 9100 system, and drive excellence throughout the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the quality team, ensuring the highest standards are met. A strong background in measuring precision engineered components using Faro arm is preferred, along with experience managing the NCR process and deploying quality tools.
Full time 37.5 hrs per week with an early finish on a Friday.
Salary will be dependent on experience / qualifications
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop both the AS9100 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and achieving successful re-accreditation.
Oversee all quality activities and provide technical support to colleagues.
Manage the NCR process, driving effective resolutions.
Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team.
Coordinate calibration programmes to guarantee accurate measurement and compliance.
Review and approve quality documentation, customer specifications, and supplier requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within quality processes and standards.
Build strong relationships across departments.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a senior quality-focused role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, with practical experience in maintaining accreditation and managing quality systems.
Solid technical expertise in the inspection and measurement of complex components.
Demonstrable experience using quality tools and managing NCR processes.
Effective leadership, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision with switching to and from multiple tasks throughout the day.
