The Royal Hotel is seeking a Duty Manager to join our talented team on the Isle of Wight’s leading four-star hotel, proud to have won awards for it's outstanding service and has held 2 AA Rosettes for excellent food for 30 consecutive years. The Royal creates an atmosphere that is formerly relaxed yet fun and welcoming, ensuring every guest and staff member old and new, feel like they are part of the Royal family.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Duty Manager or an experienced Supervisor looking to take the next step, who is passionate for delivering the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, and be resilient in delivering the best experience to our clientele. Someone who can bring an enthusiastic and driven attitude to the team and inspire us to work to the best of our ability each day, whilst leading by example and adopting a hands-on approach. To ensure you can assist the management with the day to day running of the business, daily duties to include;
- Supporting and communicating effectively with all departments of the hotel.
- Working with senior management on the day-to-day running of the business.
- Scheduling shifts and monitoring staffing levels.
- Supporting the complete management team with HR issues.
- Resolving customer queries and grievances in a professional manner.
- Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
- Running morning, afternoon and evening services.
