Six flats. An office. Core support. A community of people with varied support needs, all living life on their own terms.
And yes… some very important chickens.
Could this be you?
Who You Are
You’re the kind of leader who brings energy into a room and helps others shine. You have a genuine passion for high quality, person centred support and take pride in developing your team to deliver it.
You’re warm, approachable, and a strong communicator, someone people trust and feel confident around.
You see the bigger picture. You notice when someone might be feeling isolated and take action whether that is creating opportunities, building connections, or advocating for what really matters.
You’re someone who stands up for people’s rights, choices, and independence because you believe everyone deserves a full and meaningful life, on their own terms.
What You’ll Do
Lead your team to deliver truly person centred support shaped by the individual, not a script
Ensure your team are trained, confident, and supported in their roles
Manage rotas effectively, ensuring at least 4 weeks cover is in place
Provide meaningful supervision and development through regular one to ones
Maintain high standards in line with MCA, Human Rights, and CQC expectations
Take part in a 1 in 3 weekend on call rota with support across services
Keep care plans live, relevant, and co produced with the people we support
Support people to understand their housing rights and access appropriate services
Promote privacy, independence, and choice in everyday life
Lead team meetings that are purposeful and engaging
Work alongside families and professionals to ensure support is truly effective
Oversee the chicken rota because happy chickens equals happy Hill Street
What You’ll Get
5.6 weeks annual leave plus your birthday off plus bank holidays
Online GP access for you and your dependents
Perkbox EAP, rewards, recognition and wellbeing support
Ongoing development and genuine career progression
On call bonus plus additional pay for on call hours
A supportive, award winning team
Team events people actually enjoy
Real opportunities to grow, we promote from within
The Bottom Line
This role is for someone who shows up, leads with purpose, communicates clearly, and champions the rights of the people we support while occasionally checking on the chickens.
If Hill Street sounds like your kind of place, we would love to hear from you.
