We are looking for someone who is keen to launch or start their career in School IT Support.

This exciting opportunity involves resolving incidents using your initiative, knowledge, and problem-solving skills. You will use remote and onsite support tools to solve and fix issues and keep stakeholders updated throughout.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Receiving calls/emails regarding IT issues from school stakeholders, which you will manage according to school compliances and SLA’s.
  • Resolving incidents on initial contact when possible and keeping all relevant parties up to date.
  • Deliver and maintain a rolling hardware equipment programme
  • Action incidents and requests promptly and within SLA and escalate high priority issues to relevant parties.
  • Retain ownership of incidents and requests until resolution and escalation.
  • Maintain schools’ network and service delivery.
  • Work alongside the headteacher in moving towards us being a cloud-based school

The successful candidate for this role will require:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience or keen interest in IT troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to the school IT on the whole.
  • Effective Time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and succeed.
  • A positive ‘Can Do’ attitude.

Medina House is a Primary Special School for children with complex learning difficulties aged 4-11. As part of our team, you will work for 5 days per week, 52 weeks per year. Hours to be worked 8.00-16:00pm daily except Fridays 8.00-15:30pm.
