As a key contributor reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the global sales team. Your mission? To guide customers through the sales cycle, helping them seamlessly adopt powerful software solutions that enhance production operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting a global sales organisation in generating and closing opportunities with major industrial clients
- Engaging with customers to understand their business challenges and recommending tailored software solutions
- Delivering compelling product presentations and demonstrations
- Preparing detailed proposals for customer-specific software deployments
- Acting as a bridge between clients and the software development team, ensuring solutions align with real-world needs
- Conducting market research and gathering competitive intelligence
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
What They Are Looking For
- Degree-level qualifications in engineering, software, or a related field
- 3+ years of sales experience in process automation or software solutions
- Strong technical background in the process industry or software technologies
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of customers and sales channels
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Bonus Points For
- Experience selling complex software solutions
- A track record of success in Plant Information Management Solutions (PIMS) sales
- Hands-on experience or a strong understanding of software development and process industry technologies
