We are now looking for an HR Manager to join our expanding team who brings positive energy, ideas, solutions and the knowledge required to build on our existing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Lead values-based recruitment to attract the best talent across the UK.
- Compliance: Maintain rigorous records and procedures, including DBS checks and right-to-work documentation. To ensure a fair approach to process across the board.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on grievances, disciplinaries, and complex absence management. Be part of the procedures. Provide training to managers where required.
- Learning & Development: Oversee the induction process of new starters, ensuring a positive and inclusive process. Capture data on people’s experiences and ensure a learning culture.
- Culture & Wellbeing: Drive staff wellbeing initiatives and promote an inclusive, supportive work environment.
- Policy Management: Regularly review and update HR policies to align with changing UK employment law and social care regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
- CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role (Social Care experience is a major plus).
- A "people-first" mindset with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- The candidate should possess strong leadership qualities and good conflict resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of current UK employment law.
- Be of high integrity and work with a positive and inclusive approach.
