Based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, we are at the forefront of marine renewable energy development and clean-tech initiatives.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled individual who can help us develop our commercial communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
Role Overview
As an executive communications Intern, you will drive the creation of presentations, proposals and updates, that are read and reviewed by Venture Capital Firms, Investment Funds, Private Family offices as well as Government Infrastructure Funds.
You will also keep our existing shareholders and partners updated on our rapid and international developments as required.
This internship provides practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment so that your skills and personal development will be enhanced with invaluable advice and mentoring from the directors.
Key Responsibilities

*Assist in the development and execution of pitches, presentations and communications to both internal and external stakeholders.

*Conduct market research to identify potential new commercial relationships using subscription software packages that are updated live.

*Connect and coordinate on LinkedIn / email taking the initiative from start to finish including presentation delivery
Working Hours Required
37.5 hours a week – Office based in Cowes (4 days a week in office) 1 day a week WFH
Skills & Experience

Graduate or currently studying towards a business or related discipline degree.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
- Be a wizard on Excel!

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Proactive and resourceful.

Discretion, professionalism, and integrity when handling sensitive information.

Proficiency in illustration and / or graphic design is a plus, but not essential.

Experience in the energy, renewables, or sustainability sector is a plus, but not essential.
