Vacancy: Front of House Staff (2+ years experience required) - The Royal Hotel
We are looking for seasonal staff to work in our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and can work effectively within a team as well as independently. Experience is essential to the roles we are looking to fill, full job specific training will be given.

About Geranium Restaurant
The Geranium Restaurant at The Royal Hotel has proudly held 2 AA Rosettes for over 30 years for its outstanding service and food. The restaurant has also won a Beautiful South Restaurant of the Year Award for 4 consecutive years and has recently been nominated for a Visit England Award. Our hospitality is highly praised by critics, including a 5-star rating from Matt and Cat’s Eating Out Guide.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a passion for Food & Beverage and become an expert of our menus.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness both in front and back of house areas.
- Assist the Food & Beverage team in delivering the best experience for clientele.
- Demonstrate excellent communication with guests and colleagues.
- Engage with the vision of the hotel and actively improve what we have to offer.
- Lead and inspire junior staff.
