We are currently looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter with a strong work ethic, a positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to work as part of the team in our busy hotel kitchen.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen and food store, supporting the chefs with basic food preparation as necessary and generally ensuring a smooth operation within the kitchen environment.
Responsibilites:
- Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitised, including washing dishes, utensils and cooking equipment.
- Thorough cleaning of floors, walls and wash-up station.
- Disposal of waste following proper procedures and maintain recycling practices.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
