The Royal Ocean Racing Club is currently going through a multi-million pound re-build and will be re-opening on the 1^st June 2024, in time for a busy Summer.

 

Located in Cowes, the Club enjoys spectacular views across the Solent and the new restaurant will provide members and guests a selection of vibrant dishes and cuisines to sample throughout the year. The Clubhouse also acts as a venue for corporate and private functions, birthday parties and weddings.

As Kitchen Porter, you will be part of a busy professional kitchen, with the chance to benefit from hands on learning, about food preparation and service at a very high standard.  If you aspire to a career in catering this is a great opportunity to gain experience and understanding of working in a commercial, busy environement.

 

Your duties will focus on maintaining the servery and washup area at all times, carrying out cleaning duties as instructed and where requested supporting the team of busy chefs. You will be required to work evenings and weekends.
