We’re looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House team members to join us at The Cow for our busiest and most exciting season of the year. You’ll play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and well looked after from the moment they arrive. The Details • Fixed Term: 1st May – 31st August (inclusive) • Hours: o Average 30–40 hours per week o Typically 5 days out of 7 o School holidays may require up to 6 days per week o Quieter weeks may be 4 days per week • Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour basic rate £14.24 per hour including 12.07% rolled-up holiday pay
Holiday entitlement is paid monthly at 12.07% in addition to the basic hourly rate.
Accommodation: Optional accommodation may be available at an agreed monthly cost
The Role
As part of our Front of House team, you’ll help create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for every guest.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Greeting and seating guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Taking accurate food and drink orders
- Serving food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Handling payments (card and cash) or directing guests to the till
- Responding quickly and professionally to guest needs
- Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service
- Keeping dining areas clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Balancing speed and attention to detail in a busy environment

Hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential — attitude and work ethic matter most.
