Dairy Production Assistant - Briddlesford Farm

Briddlesford Farm Dairy is home to 150 pedigree Guernsey cows, a modern processing dairy, and a thriving farm shop and café. Our mission is to process all of our milk and meat on-site, sell directly to customers, and proudly champion Isle of Wight food and farming.

We are now looking for a Dairy Production Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on and varied role assisting with:

  • Milk bottling and cream processing

  • Cheese making and general dairy production

  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the dairy

  • Packing and labelling finished products

  • Occasional delivery driving (if a full UK driving licence is held)

Full training will be provided, so experience is welcome but not essential. What’s most important is reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and maintaining quality standards.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in cleanliness and organisation

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on work

  • Can follow procedures and maintain high food safety standards

  • Works well as part of a team in a busy environment

  • Holds a full UK driving licence (desirable, not essential)

Briddlesford Farm

Briddlesford Lodge Farm Isle of Wight. Briddlesford Farm is a 200 acre dairy farm milking 150 pedigree Guernsey cows, and encompassing a farm shop/café complex and dairy processing business. The aim of the business is to process all of its milk and home produced meat on site, and sell it direct to the consumer. It is an example of Isle of Wight food production and self-sufficiency at its best.
