Hotel Bar / Night Supervisors – The Q Boutique Hotel

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 4 nights per week (rotational), including 1 weekend off in 4

Contract: Fixed term | Start soon

Accommodation: Live-in available

The Q Boutique Hotel are seeking two reliable and calm Hotel Bar / Night Supervisors to join their team. These roles offer secure and regular overnight hours, with a sleep-in paid on top of your hourly rate.

Shift pattern: 5pm–11pm bar shift, followed by an overnight sleep-in.

You’ll ensure the bar runs smoothly, guests are well looked after, and the hotel remains safe and secure throughout the night. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong people skills, and can think on their feet.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and running the bar
• Closing and cleaning the bar once customers have left
• Welcoming and assisting guests arriving or departing during night hours
• Assisting guests with luggage
• Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving issues on the spot
• Conducting security checks during close-down
• Light cleaning duties
• Maintaining cleanliness of reception, public toilets, and public areas overnight
• Preparing the dining room for breakfast
• Completing a thorough handover to the morning team
• Responding to emergencies or false alarms and acting as first point of contact
• Recording incidents or irregularities accurately
• Logging arrivals, departures, and other admin tasks
• Handling incoming calls overnight

Skills & Requirements

• Must be 21+
• Full clean driving licence
• Bar experience preferred (training can be provided)
• Hospitality or hotel experience ideal but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Quick thinker and confident problem-solver
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
