We are actively looking for an experienced individual to assist our Bar Manager and join our established and close-knit team for the busy and fun 2025 summer season ahead.  This is a front of house role and as such, will be very much customer facing with the aim to continue to deliver the best customer experience possible to our loyal customers.

The successful candidate(s) will be experienced, hardworking and looking for an opportunity to contribute ideas for new cocktails & drink specials or promotions to increase business. The Old Fort is a seaside pub and restaurant in Seaview, Isle of Wight. Located right on the water’s edge on the Esplanade, our outdoor beachfront patio offers sweeping panoramic views of The Solent and beyond. Under new management since July 2020, The Old Fort has had an extensive re-design to include an improved downstairs bar and restaurant layout, a new bar and restaurant space upstairs as well as a new purpose-built cellar, storeroom and kitchen.

Seasonal, Part Time & Full Time positions may also be available. As well as a competitive wage structure, equal share of tips there are also added benefits & perks (dependent on role, age and experience).
