Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Finance Manager who is enthusiastic, positive, independent, and forward-thinking in their approach to finance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced business environment.

Working closely with the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will lead a small, friendly, and collaborative finance team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes.

The varied responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable & receivable
• Conducting cash flow analysis
• Overseeing banking operations
• Ensuring compliance with financial statutory requirements.
• Contributing to monthly management accounts
• Handling the monthly payroll preparation and submission.
• Supporting the finance team and the business in day-to-day queries.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A high level of organisation and be an agile worker with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Strong time management skills, ensuring work deadlines are met consistently.
• Independence and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a flexible, dynamic team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Xero Accounting software and strong IT skills, including Excel
• Recognised accountancy qualification (AAT Level 3 or above)
• 3 years previous experience in a similar role
• Experience of maintaining compliance with ISO standards
