About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the college’s accounts receivable. Your key duties will include ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collecting payments, and resolving any queries or issues related to credit control. You will liaise with vocational departments, support areas, and external organisations including employers, students, and debt collection agencies to maximise and expedite debt collection
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment collection.
- Resolve credit control queries and issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vocational departments and support areas.
- Work with external organisations to ensure efficient debt collection.
- Provide support to the wider finance function as needed.
About You:
- Hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent
- Hold Level 3 Qualification in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent
- Proactive and professional with excellent customer service skills.
- Experienced in production of financial reports and providing summary analysis
- Able to work to strict deadlines and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
- Good IT, numerical, analytical skills with high levels of attention to detail at all times
