Farmers Market Trader for Isle of Wight Tomatoes.

As a Farmers Market Trader for Isle of Wight Tomatoes, you will be part our team, transporting our award-winning products direct to our farmers market locations, building relationships, and providing a high level of customer service to established and popular farmers market destinations.

Key accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Delivering product and equipment on time and in full to markets.
• Promote and sell the finest varieties of tomatoes, and tomato-based products at weekly farmers markets.
• Collection of your vehicle, loading and unloading stock, set up, trade and pack down market stall.
• Merchandising and stock replenishment, customer services and product advice.
• Process cash and card transactions.
• Communicate effectively with the team.

Key Competencies & Skills for the role:

• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Confident at driving on the mainland.
• Must be available to work at the weekend.
• Good level of fitness and movement due to the nature of the duties.
• Confident to work alone.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Adaptable to the needs of the business.

Hourly Rate: £13.50 an hour.

Working Week: You will be assigned either a Saturday or a Sunday market day. Hours can vary depending on the agreed markets.  Approximately between 12- 16 hours a week.
