Aspire Ryde

We are an award-winning community hub, providing services throughout the week in a redundant church building that now buzzes with activity. Any profits made from projects are put straight back into services to support the local community and into maintaining our amazing building. Absolutely everyone is encouraged to come down to Aspire and get involved. We are very much driven by what the community would like from us and projects are evolved around people and their needs, so if you have an idea, come and talk to us! Our volunteers are friendly, supportive and enthusiastic about the work they do. Aspire hosts lots of groups so there’s sure to be a like-minded group of people around for you to join. If you would like further information, you can always pop in for a coffee and a chat as well as give us a call on 01983 716020 Aspire Ryde Community Hub offers regular workshops for people to learn new skills such as upcycling, and creative writing, with additional sessions supporting mental health and individuals suffering all forms of hardship. This happens throughout the week alongside our paint recycling project; a refurbishment and sales bike shop; a regular craft sewing group upcycling fabrics into merchandise; and an eclectic selection of items for sale including bespoke commissioned products. A wide range of community creative projects will be showcased including contemporary art supported by local artists.
