An Exciting opportunity to start a career in Retail working at Bayliss and Booth in Newport.

Founded in 1994 their heritage is sourcing and restoring french furniture, which they still love but their passion has expanded!! They are now located in a large industrial unit which has been divided up into lots of room settings giving them scope to add lots more goodies. Painted furniture ranges made to order, lighting, chandeliers, bed linen, table wear, gifts, and home accessories. They love sourcing artisan products too, enamelware, and beautiful bee motif glassware range to name a couple. 

Duties Include:

  • Prepare displays for different room settings
  • Work alongside experienced staff
  • Assist with all stock that comes into the shop
  • Assist with pricing and labelling of all stock
  • Provide warm welcome to all customers in the shop
  • Deal with payments from customers
  • Always give the highest levels of customer service

Skills Required:

  • Good practical skills
  • Communications skills
  • Polite and friendly manner
  • Attention to detail

Personal Qualities:

  • Creative
  • Keen desire to work in a Retail
  • Smart appearance
  • Willingness to learn

Training provided:

  • Retail Standard
  • Maths and English if required
  • In-house Training

Working Week

9.30 to 5.30 five days a week
