DDC Electronics Ltd have been designing and manufacturing bespoke electronic assemblies for worldwide military and commercial aerospace applications in aerospace and communications sectors for over 45 years. We are looking to recruit the following positon:
Quality Inspector
Reporting to the QHSE Manager, the position involves:
- Inspection of manufactured and purchased products for conformance to assembly drawings, purchased orders and the specified workmanship standards;
- Performing FAIs to AS9102 standard;
- Identifying non-conformances and feeding back to source, so appropriate rework/correction can be performed;
- Incoming/outgoing processing of customer returns and compiling repair reports to submit to our customer.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years previous experience of manufacturing or inspection, ideally within the electronics industry;
- Good communication and problem solving;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
Internal IPC-A-610 training will be given to the successful candidate.
