We are seeking to a Trainee Payments Officer, specialising in debt recovery to join our high performing Payments Team. The focus within the Payments Team is to establish a generic team of payments officers dealing with all aspects of ordering through to payment and invoicing through to collection, on behalf of the Council’s service areas. The role will predominantly be dealing with the prompt collection of monies owed to the Council.

You must be flexible in your approach, a good communicator, demonstrate team working skills and be able to work to strict deadlines in a performance driven environment.

Duties include operating a systematic debt recovery process to ensure the prompt collection of monies due to the Council.

Minimum qualifications of a BTEC National in Business Administration, A levels, or equivalent are required.
