Fixed term until qualification is completed (maximum 18 months)

The Isle of Wight Council’s Revenues section is currently seeking to appoint an Apprentice to join our busy Revenues Team.

You will undertake clerical duties providing support in the Revenues teams, relating to the billing and recovery of all monies owed to the Council.

Duties will include recording information on computer systems, sending information requests and checking payments are received relating to cases where arrangements and recovery action is in progress.

This position is within the Council Tax department however the successful candidate may undertake duties as appropriate within the Revenues & Benefit Teams which may include Business Rates or Customer Accounts.

Completion of the relevant NVQ level in Business Administration with a local approved training provider will be required as part of the training.
