Are you an experienced in understanding the operations of a School building, and looking for a new challenge? Do you have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects, with excellent communication skills at all levels?

This is an exciting time to come and join us in the delivery of the Children's Services capital programme, helping to determine priorities, managing strategies and expenditure, setting budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively at all levels with the public, School staff and agencies. You will be expected  in conjunction with colleagues to manage School Places on the Isle of Wight, to include meeting and negotiating with Headteachers, recommending strategies for effective use of school buildings.

You will need to operate in a highly professional manner at all times and it is essential that you are self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and positive about innovation and change and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
