Kevin Mole Outboards in Cowes is seeking a Sales / Admin Assistant to assist in the management of the office and handle duties for all team members.

We are looking for an individual who is efficient, who can work well as part of a team as well as on their own initiative and has a good sense of humour.

You will be working as part of a small team and may be required to carry out additional tasks when required. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is crucial and having a mechanical aptitude would be beneficial as carrying out light duties within the workshop will be a part of your role.

Your main job role and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Manage workflow by organizing tasks daily ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
  • Generate Emails, Letters and Reports when required and/or delegate accordingly.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining office equipment including computers and copy machines.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a polite and professional manner and to assume other receptionist duties when needed.
  • Greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
  • Produce Invoicing/Quotations to a high standard using Sage Line 50
  • Booking in workshop jobs, ordering parts as required and allocating accordingly.
  • Keeping stock records up to date.
  • Handling cash / card payments.
  • Keeping the company's Social Media up to date and relevant.

Personal Qualities

  • Interest in marine trade would be beneficial but not essential
  • Resourceful
  • Good problem solver
  • Organized

Training Provided

  • Business Admin Framework
  • Maths, English and ICT if required
  • In-house training

Working Week

  • 40 hours

Weekly Wage

  • £5 per hour
