Here at The Isle of Wight College we work with a number of employers, in a vast array of industries. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for Fairlee Service Station as a Customer Service Apprentice.

So Much More Than Just Petrol...

Fairlee Service Station is a family owned business established over 50 years ago, and the popular choice for many Island motorists. They have built a great reputation over the past 50 years and are proud to be one of Newport's busiest garages. Their success has been built on good service and our customers staying with us for a long time.

The successful applicant will get a great experience as an apprentice with a dedicated and supportive team helping them to be the best that they can be. This is the ethos of the company, 'nothing is too much trouble' is very true and they are hoping to find this characteristic in their new apprentice. This employer has worked with apprenticeships for many years and value their input and, should everything work out well, then the apprentice could move into a Full Time position and become an established member of the team.

The apprentice will deal with both internal and external customers, manage a variety of tasks, be a good communicator and enjoy working to ensure that the general public has a great overall experience with Fairlee Service Station. This would suit a person who likes to be organised with maybe an interest in vehicles but not necessarily in a manual capacity.
