My client is a global manufacturing company with plants in Asia and North America. They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Group Finance Director to manage the satellite management accounts and take overall control of the groups finances.

Based on the Isle of Wight you will be required to travel to the sites on a bi-monthly basis as well as remotely managing the accounts functions. This is a challenging, high-profile role and the successful applicant must be able to achieve long term business objectives and to operate at the highest level within this international business.

The successful applicant must:

  • Be able contribute within the Management Team for the development of the company and fully collaborate with all other members of the team and staff members
  • Play an active part in the strategic planning process, with particular input on the financials.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets.
  • Oversee the management and coordination of all financial activities
  • Maintain systems and processes for adequate and accurate reporting
  • Attend all Board and sub-committee meetings as appropriate
  • Monitor all banking activities and manage relationships with relevant Bank personnel
  • Identify, in collaboration with the Managing Director, new funding opportunities
  • Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the business needs

Skill Required:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 10 years’ experience
  • Experience  in a senior financial role ideally in manufacturing
  • Proven line manager with excellent personal presentation and communication skills
  • A team player, able to demonstrate the highest levels of collaborative working
  • Experience of dealing with a global company with multiple FX
